Prepared environment
In order to best implement the pedagogical goals, it is necessary to design our environment accordingly: The room is the third pedagogue.
- Space distribution with play corners and shelves that are, of course, accessible to the children at all times
- no unnecessary furniture, flexible play rugs and play stands that allow the space to be reused
- Decoration according to the seasons and the current topic (e.g. season table on which things made by the children or collected materials from nature, a chestnut tub)
- We take special care in the selection of play and handicraft material.
- Each material should stimulate prolonged activity. This is only possible if several stages can be worked out with it, i.e. Differentiation into different learning levels is possible (e.g. puzzle)
- Aesthetics: The activity is supported by the aesthetics of the materials. It is intended to support the character of a request and to encourage the child to take responsibility. The material should always be beautiful and complete, but should also be presented in an appealing manner.
- Limitation: Each material is only available once, which means that every material retains its value. At the same time, the child learns to wait and keep motivated when the material is being used.
- The game material is presented in an inviting manner and is at the child's height so that the child can act independently and without outside help. It is also exchanged or supplemented depending on the topic.
- Self-control - thus the possibility of error control - is the basis for the independence and independence of the child and leads to a sensitization of the course of action.
- The materials themselves, how to deal with them and the special access to the child challenge all of the child's powers. Through the senses, the hand / like the movement, the intelligence, the will and the feeling are very intensively promoted.
